Our School
A friendly, family martial-arts club across Teddington and Kingston — qualified, experienced instructors and a welcoming community for all ages and abilities.
Kaizen means continuous improvement, and that is exactly what we stand for. We teach children (from age 5) and adults across four disciplines, with a strong focus on confidence, discipline and respect — not just technique.
Our instructors bring decades of experience and genuine inclusivity, including extensive work with students who have Special Educational Needs. Parents are always welcome to watch, and your first class is free.
Our styles
Kaizen Karate
Heavily influenced by Kyokushinkai, Kudo and Ashihara karate — points fighting, full-contact sparring, takedowns, grappling, striking and kicking.
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu
Brazilian and Japanese Jiu-Jitsu — locks, throws and stand-up techniques, with a dedicated beginners course.
MMA
Mixed Martial Arts, bringing several styles together for well-rounded, effective training.
Kobudo
A traditional Okinawan weapons system — nunchaku, sai, tonfa and more. Rarely taught anywhere else.
